For the most part, I made up the embroidery on this piece as I went along. Dear husband critiqued the butterfly on the lower left
until I got it to his satisfaction. LOL. The angel is adapted from one I saw in a cross stitch book, but didn't want to cross stitch. Her body is silk, hair is rayon boucle, and her robe is
silk/viscose and chenille. I hadn't done any crazy quilting for a while when I stitched this piece, so it was really a lot of fun to make. |
