	This miniature quilt shows lots of techniques. It is bound with French wired ribbon. Because of the size of the piece, it was scanned in three sections.

	A couple of years ago, my husband took our three children to Kirk's Collection to pick out things for Mother's Day. They spent two hours getting just the right things. So, using only the fabrics and findings they picked out, I stitched a Mother's pin using Judith Baker Montano's weeping heart pattern.


	*Crazy Quilt Christmas Stocking*

	Fabrics include satins, silks, brocades, moires, and cottons. Stitches used are stem, bullion roses, herringbone, cretan, free form feather, tied herringbone, coral knot, chain, buttonhole circle, beaded feather, straight, and couched. Threads used are DMC floss, Au Ver a Soie silk, Madeira metallic, silk buttonhole twist, Waterlilies, and Needle Necessities overdyed. Embellishments include six Austrian lead crystals, antique mother-of-pearl buttons, angel sculpted button, glass starts, brass charms, pearls, crocheted Irish rose, seed beads, and silk ribbon. This won the Best Original Artist and Viewer's Choice awards at the EGA show in May.

	This wall hanging was stitched as a way to display the three counted cross stitch angels I had made. The top two are MLI, the third is a Lanarte chart. The blocks are 12". One ribbon is embroidered with "Crazy for Angels". The black bobbin lace that surrounds the piece is some that I picked up in England. This piece has won blue ribbons at county and state fairs.

Peonies

Stitches on black velvet with silk ribbon and silk buttonhole twist, this won Viewer's Choice.

Christmas Stocking

This was a Bucilla pattern with color changes. What a fun piece! It has lots of different stitches.

	The bleeding heart design was stitched in silk ribbon embroidery from an Evening Star Design.

				This is a Mary Jo Hiney kit using silk ribbon and wired ribbon flowers.
